Behind the scenes

On Saturday, June 18th, the paintings were finally together hung for the first time. The pictures below show first the bare wall ready for the painting panels. Then two retired firefighters, Mike and Luke helped hang the seven painting panels. Paul was hidden inside the wall guiding the hanging hooks into place.  William peeled the protective papers from the acrylic covers and polished them clean.

All that was left was to wait 36 more hours for an audience.

 

 

I promise to take more pictures tomorrow.
