Trinidad, Colorado

Last October I filled up about 23′ of a semi-trailer and moved back to Colorado. The two 600# better angels crates needed to go on last so they could come off first. I had access to a forklift and loading dock back in MA, but needed a storage space with access to a forklift once I got to CO. Luck was with me.

I formally moved my body to Trinidad on January 1, 2021. Then with Covid in the land, I laid very low until April. At which point I had to reach out because better angels cannot stay in their crates on the 20th anniversary. So I networked as best I could in a town where I hardly knew anyone yet, and I am happy to announce – with help, enthusiasm and support from just about everyone I’ve met – better angels: the firefighters of 9/11 will be on display at the Corazon de Trinidad Creative District’s home from August 28 through November 20, 2012.

More details to come.

Meanwhile, the crates are there, waiting. Hiding behind all my other art. I placed them in such a way that the seven inner crates for the panels can be removed while leaving the big crates in place. Good thing because they are holding many other things up.
