Time-Lapse installation of BETTER ANGELS in Rayburn House Office Building

In less than two weeks now, we’ll be setting up Better Angels in NEW YORK CITY!!!  That will be the last time the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and I will construct the big display wall where we show the paintings.  New York will be the last stop on this wonderful tour with the NFFF (but not the last stop for Better Angels).

Appropriately, just today I received these pictures and folded them into a time-lapse slide show of the wall being built.  Three hours crammed into 203 seconds.

This was our shortest install ever with about 8 NFFF helpers (Cathy, Bev, Billy, Dave, John…), KC Balsley who designed the wall but had never seen it and happened to be in DC with his wife that week, and 7-8 DC firefighters (one of whom , Michael, had helped before), plus me.  We finished in under 3 hours.  Unheard of.  KC set up his camera to shoot one picture a minute. Lighting keeps it from being seen, but the Capitol Dome is right outside those windows.
