William Krukowski rode his bike 17 miles to and from work every shift. He took up bicycling, and quit skydiving and motorcycles when he became a father. Devoted to his young son, among their many regular activities was watching “The Simpsons” together. Bill was sometimes called “Super Probie” during his three years at Ladder 21.
