Keith Glascoe was a 38-year-old firefighter who began his working life with the New York Jets, twice invited to their training camp. After an injury sidelined him, he played in Italy for a year, becoming proficient in Italian. He was a big man – 6’4″ – who also caught the acting bug and filled his resume with television and film roles. After marrying, he joined the FDNY for a more “regular job.” He left behind three young children , the youngest born after he was gone.
